Company

Dirt is a
schedule problem

Every vertical trade on a job site is waiting on the same thing: a pad at grade, compacted, tested, and released. Lazy H Construction Company exists to hand that over early and hand it over clean.

We self-perform mass excavation, grading, and site preparation across North Texas — no brokered dirt crews, no borrowed superintendents. Our operators run GPS machine control on model files we build and check ourselves, so what leaves the office is what gets built in the field.

The name is a cattle brand. The approach is the same one that comes with it: show up before daylight, do what you said, and let the work stand on its own.

Sectors

Where our dirt goes

Different sectors fail in different ways. We price and schedule for the ones we know.

01

Industrial & distribution

Large-footprint pads, truck court subgrade, and dock-height grading where a tenth of a foot shows up in the concrete.

02

Residential development

Full subdivision grading, lot balancing, street subgrade, and phased turnover so builders can start ahead of final acceptance.

03

Commercial & retail

Pad sites, parking fields, and detention on constrained sites with live adjacent traffic and limited laydown.

04

Public & municipal

Roadway embankment, drainage improvements, and park and school sites with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.

05

Energy & utility

Substation pads, access roads, and laydown yards built to carry equipment loads long after we demobilize.

Fleet & technology

Owned iron,
not rented promises

Rented equipment shows up when the rental yard has it. Ours shows up when the schedule says. We maintain our own fleet, run our own mechanics, and keep spare capacity for the week a job goes sideways.

Every production machine runs 3D machine control tied to the same model our engineers build from the civil plans, so cut and fill are verified continuously instead of chased at the end.
